I don’t think I’ve ever met a tree that I didn’t like. I love them when their branches are bare, stark against the sky. I love them when the first leaves start to unfurl as if they’re trying on a new outfit. And when those same leaves are spread out wide and providing welcome shade against the hot summer sun. But my favorite trees are those found in the Fall when the leaves start to turn colors and each new day brings on a new scene to behold. And let’s face it, there is nothing more fun than jumping into a big pile of freshly fallen leaves.
